I'm an old guy 63yrs, I'm 220 lbs. I use to do small things like picking up prescriptions, and light stuff from grocery stores. it has plenty of power for me, once I unlocked to get full power it's a bit too fast for me. lvl 3 at 28 mph is just right I'm in no rush. I had to make the shocks stiff i was bottoming out on me but now it's fine,i went 70 miles in 1 day only used 2 bars. i like this bike, i am going to get one for the wife.. my top speed was 35mph

Yo this e-bike is LIT! Just got my R8 and holy ****, the power on this thing is insane! I'm hitting trails like a boss, cruising 50+ miles round trip no problem. The suspension's buttery smooth even when I send it off jumps (don't tell my mom lol).
For a first e-bike? 10/10 would recommend. It's fast AF but still super controllable. Best graduation gift EVER. Shoutout to the engineers who made this monster!

This bike is actually really good. Gets great range and has a good amount of power for a hub motor, I can keep up with cars on any streets that are 35 MPH and on dirt trails it’s a ton of fun and it handles pretty good as well! There is a few little things that ai would love to change and if I can get in contact with Happyrun, I would love to help them change some small things on the bike that would make it a lot more profitable without costing any more money in the manufacturing process.

Make sure someone will be home for delivery signature. Bike is awesome and so fun. I weigh 250 pounds and it will do 48 with me on it. Climbs hills well and suspension is very adequate. Does need more cushion in the seat. So I added to the original. Do not hesitate to buy. For the price you can not get anything else close.

So far the bike is awesome. I’ve taken it on some really rugged terrain and it does very well. No, It is not a surron but for the price it is great. The range is great but if you’re pushing it hard it will be much less obviously. My screen did not work properly, and they sent me a new screen and it worked perfectly. I was nervous about purchasing because of some bad reviews online but I took the risk and glad I did. Love the bike tons of fun. Hope it holds up for a long time.

I was doing about 2 weeks of research and started with normal amazon stuff. my budget kept going up lol but it was for a good reason. i needed more power being 200lbs and also wanted something i would enjoy if im spending this much. I landed on the R8 because i wanted something that still had pedals so the bike police wouldn’t be on my butt. I wasn’t disappointed when i got it. Will buy again if they make a pedal bike with way more power for a similar price

So far so good. I had a little trouble getting up hills in sandy soil, but overall this bike get through most places. I have ridden this on roads and on trails, and I enjoy the trail riding the most! The quiet operation allows one to witness a lot of wildlife because they don't hear you coming until you are next to them. The headlight is very bright and makes this bike easy to ride at night.
