isinwheel 48V 18 Ah battery for U8Pro/U8 Ultra Electric Bike

Have not yet tested. Battery comes boxed, not much protection. Did have cracked cooling type fin. Will test soon. Original in bike I'm still on 3/4 charge with about 20 miles. So I'm happy with that. Love it.

Bought two U8 Pro e-bikes after a lot of research on trying to find something lighter and with a larger ah battery for my grandkids to ride. The U8 was perfect except for the way the controller staged the peddle assist.
Using throttle only, you had 5 power levels, but using the peddles, the controller would immediately accelerate to peddle assist level 5. This made it problematic for using the peddles when starting on gravel, or making a narrow u-turn while peddling.
I contacted Isinwheel customer service and Leslie addressed my issue immediately. She sent me two new controllers that changed the peddle assist to correspond with the power level settings, and now the two bikes operate the same as my other e-bikes.
The U8 is a great lightweight multi featured bike, with ample power and range for trails and commuting, and the frame and handlebars give you a BMX feel.
Definitely recommend this ebike at this price point, and customer service and communication have been outstanding.
